Dr. Jacobs is a native to the northwest Chicago suburbs, growing up in Buffalo Grove. During his high school years at Adlai E. Stevenson High School, in Lincolnshire, Dr. Jacobs began observing dental procedures where his passion for dentistry began.
After high school, he completed his undergraduate studies at Marquette University, in Milwaukee, WI, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Jacobs matriculated to Marquette University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was involved in research of contemporary topics in dentistry during his undergraduate and graduate years.
Dr. Jacobs pursued a General Dental Practice Residency at Level 1 Trauma Center: OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, in Peoria, IL. He gained extensive clinical experience in many areas of dentistry, treating a wide array of diverse patients with various comorbidities and drug addictions in many clinical settings including hospital (inpatient & outpatient), public health department and private practice. Through the years, his philosophy involves promoting health where nutrition and good oral hygiene are imperative. It’s gratifying and professionally fulfilling when Dr. Jacobs sees patients smile with confidence due to exemplary dental care.
During his off hours, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Nicole, family, friends, and his bernedoodle, Lola. He loves photography, video games, reading, playing sports and long walks with a delicious coffee in hand.
